Rapid hat Medienberichten zu Folge ein 1,5 Mio. Pfund (= 1,8 Mio. Euro) schweres Angebot der Glasgow Rangers für Nikica Jelavic abgelehnt. Rapid will jedoch drei Mio. Pfund (=3,6 Mio. Euro), daher wurde das Angebot abgelehnt, heißt es in dem Bericht der Evening Times. Die Rangers werden demnach das Angebot nicht erhöhen, da es den finanziellen Rahmen sprenge und sich anderwertig umschauen.
